We had a birthday party March 12, 2018 to celebrate Pamela's eighth birthday. Although we do not know the exact date of her birthday, we have always celebrated it on March 12 because that was Angela's exact birth date. So this year, I baked a Recovery Cake for Pamela. It is made of ground dried pear tree leaves (2 tsp), a mix of organic peanut butter, almond butter and cashew butter (1 tsp), baked sweet potato (2 tsp) and water (1 tsp). The pictures below are of the cake baking in the dehydrator, the cake with leaf stick "candles" and "iced" with fresh ground flaxseed, Brylee (on the right) singing happy birthday to Pamela (on the left), and then Pamela and Brylee eating the cake, being so enthusiastic that they did not wait to remove the "candles" from the cake.
